CULTURE dtsa

Constructed in the 1880’s as a livery, this building housed horses on the first floor and hay on the second.  During the 1900’s the building had a variety of uses including a general store. By the 1980’s, the building had been abandoned, with boarded up windows and pigeons sleeping in the attic.  In 2004, the Rosenow Spevacek family purchased 309 W 4th St and spruced up the space to create a contemporary office space for their business.  In 2014, the Good Beer Company moved into the first floor, adding a 15-barrel copper-clad brewhouse, and started making American style ales, and mixed fermentation sour beers, often aged in oak barrels with local fruit and foraged herbs.

140 years later, this building now offers CULTURE dtsa – a coworking space in the heart of downtown Santa Ana.  Now you can grab a beer, make new friends and Get to Work.  Mixing yeasty beer cultures with DTSA community members and their friends, we’re making a new kind of mixed culture.  Join us. A variety of memberships are available.
